The guide.
What is on the board, how to find the roles that suit you, and how to keep on top of them once you do. Nine sections, no account needed to read them.
Start here.
Your Finance Job is one board for the ways into finance: internships, graduate programmes, working-student jobs and first roles. It is rebuilt every day, and every role links to the firm's own posting.
What it is for
Finance hires early, in seasons, and each firm does it on its own page. That is the whole problem: the deadlines are spread over a hundred sites and the good ones close quietly. This board puts them in one list, sorted by what is newest, and leaves the applying where it belongs, on the firm's site.
Nothing here is an advert. Roles are ordered by date, never by who pays, and the board carries early-career roles only. If a listing is for a director with fifteen years behind them, it is not for this audience and it is not here.
Three steps, then it runs itself
Tell it what you want. Role type, level, where you can work. Signed in, those become the filters the board opens with, on any device.
Do it in one minute at the four questions, or any time under Account, Role filters.
Work a shortlist, not a feed. Star what you like, set a stage as you move through it, keep notes and deadlines on the role instead of in your head.
Everything you mark lives on your account, so the board and your assistant see the same thing.
Let the new ones come to you. One email at your hour with what is new at the firms you follow, what matches your filters, and what you asked to be reminded of.
Or ask your assistant, which reads the same board. That is the AI page.
What it will not do
It does not apply for you, it does not send your CV anywhere, and it does not stand between you and the firm. There is no fee, and there is no plan to charge for the roles.
The board right now.
Live from the same data the tracker runs on, so this page changes with it. Every bar is a link: click one and the board opens filtered to it.
Role types
What the board is made of today. A role sits in exactly one type, so these add up to the whole board.
Levels
The route in, not the seniority. Most of the board is students and first jobs.
Countries
Where the open roles are, in the firms' own wording.
Cities
The hubs that carry the most right now.
New postings by day
The last fourteen days. Finance posts in waves: a quiet fortnight is normal, and autumn is when the graduate season lands.
Older days read low because a role leaves the board when the firm takes it down. The last two or three days are the honest ones.
Busiest firms
Most open roles on the board today. It moves week to week.
Find what suits you.
Two ways to do this. Start from where you are in your studies, or build the filter yourself and watch the count move.
Start from where you are

Pick as many as you like in each row. Nothing picked in a row means everything in that row.

Getting more out of the board
Firms we cover.
Firms are added by hand, one at a time, because the point is coverage you can trust rather than a large number. Here is who is on the board today.

Who belongs on the board
Firms that hire early-career people into finance: market makers and proprietary traders, investment banks, asset managers and hedge funds, private equity and venture capital, brokers and exchanges, insurers, the strategy consultancies, and the technology teams inside all of them.
A firm is added when it hires this audience with real openings on a regular basis. Size is not the test. Several of the most interesting names on the board hire four people a year.
What stays off it
How it is kept honest
The board is rebuilt daily and a role drops off when the firm takes it down. Anything that looks wrong gets checked by a person: a dead link, a role in the wrong type, a firm listed twice under two spellings.
Found one? Open the row menu on the board and choose Report, or ask your assistant to report it, or write to vincent@sophron.eu. Reports are read.
How the board is assembled is our own work and stays that way. What we will say is that every role points back to the firm, nothing is copied from anyone else's listing, and no firm pays for a place on it.
Missing a firm
Name it and it gets looked at, whether you are a student who knows where you want to work or the firm itself. Same address: vincent@sophron.eu.
Track your applications.
Applying to fifteen places over four months is an admin problem before it is a talent problem. The board holds the admin so you do not keep it in a spreadsheet.
The pieces
Your Overview page
Overview is the whole pipeline on one screen: a tile per stage, your lists down the side, then reminders, the firms you follow, the searches you are watching and the events you saved. Add a role that is not on the board by hand, group by stage or by firm, and work down it.
A way of working that holds up
Star wide on the first pass. Judge nothing, just collect. Ten minutes once a week is enough to stay ahead of a season.
Move a role to Applying the moment you open the firm's form. Half-finished applications are where the losses are.
Put a reminder on every deadline you care about, two days before, not on the day.
Write one line in the note when you hear back. In March you will not remember which of the four rounds at that firm you are in.
Keep Rejected honest. It is the only way the rest of the board tells you anything about where you actually get traction.
All of it needs an account, and an account is free. It is the same Sophron® account as the investment club sites; one email, one password. Creating one here does not make you a member of any club.
Alerts and email.
One email, at an hour you pick, carrying everything that is due. Not one message per role, and never a newsletter you did not ask for.
What can be in it
Setting it
Open Account, then Email. Switch the master toggle on; nothing is sent while it is off.
Pick daily or weekly, the hour, and your time zone. If you are not in the Netherlands, set the time zone first or the hour will not mean what you think.
Weekly asks for a weekday too. Monday morning suits most people.
Choose which of the four sources count. Followed firms on, filter matches off, is the quiet setup.
Turning it down
One role that keeps surfacing can be muted on its own. A firm can be hidden, which takes it out of both the board and the email. The master switch stops everything at once, and nothing here is ever more than three emails in a day.
Your assistant can do all of this too, in plain words: "remind me two days before the Flow Traders deadline", "watch Jane Street", "make it weekly on Monday at eight".
Ask your assistant.
Connect the board once to Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code, and then ask for what you want instead of clicking for it. It signs in as you and sees your own data only. The two-minute setup is on the AI page.
What follows is the useful half: what to actually say. Click any line to copy it.
Six briefs it can run for you
Each one pulls the data itself and hands back a finished piece of work: a weekly digest, a firm brief, an application plan, a deadline calendar, a comparison of two roles, and a prep checklist for one role. In Claude they sit under the connector, in Claude Code they are slash commands, and anywhere else you ask for them by name.
What it can see
The public board, and your own record: stars, stages, notes, lists, reminders, watches, email settings. Nothing about anyone else. A star set by your assistant is a star here, and a stage set here is what your assistant reports. One record, two ways in, and you can revoke the connection from your assistant's settings at any time.
Events.
The Events tab carries what the firms host themselves, plus the competitions worth travelling for. Each one is checked on the host's own page before it goes up.
What is listed
How to use it
Go early in the year. Insight days for the autumn are decided in spring, and the deadline is usually months before the day itself.
Save the ones you want. Saved events show up on your Overview and can carry a reminder like any role.
Ask your assistant which are still open: "which insight days in the Netherlands are still open to apply?"
Events are hosted by the firms, not by us. Registration happens on their page, the same way applications do.
Questions.
The ones that come in most often.
Where do the roles come from?
From the firms. Every role on the board is a firm's own opening and links straight to the firm's own posting, which is where you apply. The list is rebuilt daily and checked by a person when something looks off. How it is assembled is our own work, and that part we keep to ourselves.
Is it free?
Yes, all of it: the board, an account, the email, the assistant connector. There is no plan to charge for roles. If anything is ever paid for, it will be convenience, not access.
Do I need an account?
Not to look. An account is what makes stars, stages, lists, notes, reminders and email possible, and it carries your filters between your laptop and your phone.
What is a Sophron account?
One login across this site and the investment club sites. Creating an account here gives you the login and nothing else; it does not make you a member of a club, and joining a club is its own step on that club's site.
Does the board cover the whole world?
It covers where the firms hire. Europe is the deepest, the United States, the United Kingdom and Asia are well represented, and a firm's roles appear wherever it posts them. The Countries list under "The board right now" is the honest answer on any given day.
Why is a role I applied to no longer there?
Because the firm took the posting down. If you had set a stage on it, it stays on your board and in your Overview, which is the reason to set a stage early.
A link is dead or a role looks wrong.
Report it from the row menu on the board, or ask your assistant to report it, or write to vincent@sophron.eu. It gets checked by hand.
Can my firm be added?
Write to vincent@sophron.eu. Being on the board is free and always will be. Anything beyond a listing, which means getting in front of this audience on purpose, runs through Sophron®.
Will you email my CV to firms?
No. Nothing about you leaves this site for a firm. You apply on their page, in your own name.
Who is behind it?
Sophron®, the parent of the Amsterdam Investment Club, which also runs The Trading Fair, the Quant Competitions and The Sophron® Network podcast. More on the About page.
